Fixed sessions help me

Played my 3k hands today (3032 to be precise), and made a nice $2139. In my middle session (playing three a day) Ian sweat me, and I think it was probably my worst play since starting the challenge. The good thing about grinding a lot of hands though is that you soon forget about it and just get on with the next session.

In the last session it started off really poorly and I felt a bit frustrated for the first time in a while, but knowing that I'm going to play two hours/1k hands regardless really does help things. When I'm focussing on how many hands I'm going to play, and I know when I'm going to quit my session, it seems easier to deal with things. I don't stay and play longer than is probably good for me if I have good positions/tables, and I don't quit early when I've booked a good win. I just stay and play my hands. This probably sounds pointless/stupid to some of you, but just setting my sessions to 1k hands has really helped my emotions.

I can't be bothered to do any hands now as I'm tired. I might stick some in here tomorrow morning.

Good point. I started a kind of a challenge like yours too, playing ~6hr/day and i feel the same thing.

As the day goes and as i play my sessions, i feel like i have time to make up for bad beats or so. It's nice.

However, i sometimes feel like when i know i'm gonna stop my session/day soon (like, looking at my clock), i'm getting nittier and less likely to get involved into hands that could break my winnings.

Good luck,

Waiting for new vidz on leggo :)
