What up homes.

We've been back in Melbourne for about a week and a half or so now. I'm definitely not a city person. I knew it before but I'm starting to realise quite how much I dislike them. I find it quite stressful even just walking around with this many people. I'm going to vow that from 2010 I won't ever spend more than a week in a city at any one time ever again. If I break that you're welcome to break me.

Chris and I are planning to get moving on Nov 5/6th and head up to somewhere beachy. We're most likely going to check out the Gold Coast and stay at Surfer's Paradise/Byron Bay/wherever for a while. We'll check out Sydney on the way back and maybe Cairns or somewhere to see the Great Barrier Reef as well.

Since we've been back we've checked out the Melbourne Museum (which is in Carlton gardens near where we stay). I thought it was excellent and we actually ended up not having enough time there. We've headed down to Federation Square, the Queen Victoria market, blah blah. We go to the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday which should be fun.

Poker-wise, I've been playing mostly HU this month. It's been relatively stress free so far (which I'm not knocking but worries me slightly), and I ended up having a pretty good month at $15k ish for 19k hands work. It woulda/coulda/shoulda been more but I have an addiction to playing games that I suck at (PLO, 2/4 and 5/10 6-max). Next month I'm going to try and stick to HU as much as possible as it's clearly my best game at the moment. Maybe I'll leave the PLO until I get home so I can focus on it more.

Again, for pictures check out my Facebook (Martin Coleman). If you're friends with Bazclef on there then just check his as my pictures are just his stolen.
